Costs Recovery

For claims under £100,000, these are likely to be subject to the ‘fixed costs’ regime. Even if you succeed, you will only recover a fixed sum of costs from your opponent. There is therefore likely to be a shortfall between what you pay us and what you recover. Conversely, if you lose, you would normally only be liable to pay a fixed amount of your opponent’s costs.

Timescale

Undisputed debt collection can normally be concluded within 12 to 16 weeks. However, this depends on whether it is necessary to issue a claim, the other party’s response, and whether enforcement action is needed. Timescales are always subject to court timescales which are outside our control. The work in this area is supervised by Mr. Muhammad Ziaullah Khan and Ms. Aamenah Khan, Directors.
